Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026 · version 2026-10-08-2
This policy applies to every posta account. It is part of our Terms of Service and is governed by Turkish law. A Turkish version is at /tr/aup. If the two differ, the Turkish version applies.
The short version
Use posta for real, wanted email between people, apps and AI agents that you control. No spam, no bulk marketing, no phishing, nothing illegal. You are responsible for everything sent from your account, including email sent by your AI agents and scripts.
You must not use the service to:
- Send spam: email to people who didn't ask for it, including cold outreach at scale, and purchased, rented or scraped lists.
- Send bulk or marketing email, including newsletters and promotional campaigns, even to people who opted in. Use a dedicated email-marketing provider for that. If you send commercial messages through other channels, you must follow the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce (Elektronik Ticaretin Düzenlenmesi Hakkında Kanun) and the Commercial Message Management System (İYS) rules. Transactional email (receipts, sign-in links, notifications a user asked for) and normal one-to-one email are fine.
- Phish, scam or impersonate: fake login pages, invoice fraud, pretending to be another person, brand or organisation, or forging headers or sender addresses.
- Spread malware or links to it, or run command-and-control traffic.
- Send or store illegal content, including child sexual abuse material and any content that is a crime under Turkish law, or content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or personal rights.
- Harass, threaten or stalk anyone, or share someone's personal data without a legal basis.
- Attack or probe our systems or anyone else's: brute force, scanning, denial of service, or getting around rate limits, quotas or blocks.
- Hide where mail comes from: open relays, anonymising proxies, or rotating accounts or domains to avoid limits or blocklists.
- Resell mailboxes or accounts without our written permission.
AI agents and automation
You may connect AI agents and scripts through our API. You stay responsible for what they do. They may only send email that a person in your organisation would be allowed to send under this policy. They must stay within your sending limits and stop when a recipient says no. AI agents may not send cold (unrequested) email.
Your duties as a sender
Use your own domain with valid SPF, DKIM and DMARC records (the dashboard shows you the records). Respect "stop" and unsubscribe requests within 3 business days. Keep bounce and complaint rates low. Keep your passwords and API keys safe.
What we may do
To protect recipients, our network and the law, we may:
- slow down or pause sending,
- hold messages for review,
- suspend a mailbox, domain or account,
- remove content or close the account for serious or repeated breaches.
If the risk is urgent, we may act without notice. We use automated signals (sending volume, bounces, complaints, spam-filter scores), and a person reviews the case before any permanent action. We don't read your email as a routine. We look at specific messages only when needed to investigate a report or abuse signal, or when a Turkish court or authority orders it.
When we restrict your account, we tell you what we did, why, and how to object, unless the law or an authority forbids it or telling you would help ongoing abuse. To object, reply to our message or write to abuse@preved.co. A person reviews every objection.
Report abuse and legal requests
Report spam, phishing or other abuse
Email abuse@preved.co and include:
- the full headers of the message (not just a screenshot), or the exact URL;
- why you think it is abusive or illegal;
- your name and email address. You may report child sexual abuse material anonymously.
We confirm receipt and aim to act within 1 business day. We tell you what we decided.
Not for: support questions, or asking us to read or hand over someone else's email. We can't do that without a court or authority order.
Rights complaints (copyright, trademark, personal rights)
Send the same details to abuse@preved.co. Say which right is infringed and that you hold it or act for its holder. We review it and may restrict the content if the infringement is clear. If it isn't clear, we may ask you to get a court order.
