Where AgentMail is ahead
- Developer tooling: official SDKs, webhooks, websockets and an MCP server. posta today has a small REST API (domains, mailboxes, usage) and no SDK or MCP server yet.
- Maturity and scale: published paid tiers, higher volumes, enterprise features (SSO, white-label).
Where posta fits better
- You want the mailbox on a domain you already own, on the free plan.
- You want to read the code, audit it or run it yourself (AGPL-3.0).
- You need mail kept on servers in Türkiye.
- You want plain IMAP/SMTP mailboxes with a webmail, not only an agent-oriented inbox object.
Limits to know before choosing posta
- Free early access is small: 1 domain, 1 mailbox, 50 outgoing messages a day.
- Delivery to Outlook/Hotmail addresses can still be limited while the sending IP builds reputation.
- Paid plan: Pro, 1 domain and 10 mailboxes for a flat $100 a year, paid online by card, no automatic renewal, 14-day full refund.
